Supporters can now donate online with their Bank Account using the "Donate" button on your fundraiser and team pages. The "Bank Account" option is next to the credit card option in the "Payment Info" section of the Online Form.

Donations and Pledge payments via paper check should be mailed with a completed Donation Form to:

Please register with a personal e-mail address to improve delivery of notifications. You can can change your account e-mail address in your profile.

The fundraising system sends messages on behalf of your registered e-mail address, so using a company address may result in delivery problems to other users in the company.

You must be logged in to modify the e-mail address in your account profile:

Click "My HQ" (top right under your name)
Click the link "your profile page"
Edit your profile and click "save."
 

You can find a list of last year’s donors on your individual fundraising page under “MY HQ” and “My Fundraising Report”.

Team members must each register themselves and can then join your team.  Because personal contact information and passwords are selected when setting up Personal pages and HQ, each participant must be the one to enter this information.

A personal URL is a shortened link to your team or personal page that you can send to friends and family in emails. A personal URL will look like this https://www.4kidsake.org/ben.

When a donor makes a donation online, s/he can enter text to appear on the fundraising honor roll. This may be the donor's name, or it could be something like "From the whole Wolf family" or "In Memory of Aunt Cathy".

Yes. You can make a donation to a fundraiser on a team or you can make a general team donation.

Please make sure that in the memo it says FKS and who the donations should be credited to.

Click the magnifying glass icon at top right on the home page and begin typing the first or last name. Your options will display as you type.

Any donation made online should post immediately. If an online donation does not post within 5 minutes, please contact us.

If you check this checkbox, you will be charged the amount indicated next to the checkbox. This amount will also be visible to the non-profit. However, on the fundraising page, your intended - initial donation amount will be displayed.

All monetary donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Yes. For Canadian donations made online with a credit card, the amount entered in the online donation form will be in U.S. dollars.

Any donor who mailed their donation and provided an address will receive a receipt via mail once the donation has been processed. If you made your donation in installments, you will receive a receipt each time a monthly payment is processed.

Yes, anyone who donates online, regardless of the amount, will receive a receipt via email.

A Tax ID number identifies Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters as a 501(c)(3) non-profit Organization. The Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters Tax ID number is 23-7056717

When you make a donation online, you can designate what you want to appear as your recognition name on the participant's Honor Roll. This may be your name, or it could be something such as "From the whole Wolf family" or "in memory of Aunt Cathy."

Facebook is a great way to connect with friends and ask for donations! In order to do so effectively and have it count towards your individual total raised on 4kidsake.org, please copy the URL link to your individual fundraising page, paste it in your Facebook post and then send to friends. Do not use the Donate button on the Facebook site as Facebook uses its own fundraising platform and is NOT associated with KSBBBS For Kids’ Sake.

If a donation check has been written out to you personally, you may endorse the back of the check and mail it in with a completed donation form to Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Please ask all individual donors to donate to you directly via the fundraiser search or through the Donate button on your personal fundraising page. General donations can be used for occasions when a team has a group activity fundraiser such as a team bake sale or team service project.

It is not a good idea to send a cash donation in the mail. You may drop off the cash at a Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters Office Location along with your information or you can deposit the cash into your checking account and send a personal check from your account.

Your supporters can donate via the Bank Account option online. However you can't enter a paper check online. What you can do is enter a check as a pledge. This can be done in the fundraising section of your headquarters page. The status of the check will be pending until the check is received by Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters.

As your donors make a contribution, they have the option of whether or not they want to appear in the Honor Roll.

Log in with your email and password to visit your headquarters page. Select ‘My Fundraising Report on the left side. You will then find a list of all of your donors as well as a list of all donors to your team .

To easily send thank-you emails to donors, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your fundraiser dashboard by clicking the "My HQ" link in the top right
2. Click "My Fundraising Report" in the left sidebar
3. Locate the donor/donation you'd like to thank, and click "Send Email" (If the donor didn't submit their email address, this option is unavailable.)
4. Type the message in the pop-up window, and click "Send Email"
